As you step inside, the warm, cozy ambiance immediately invites you to slow down and savor each moment, a sentiment echoed repeatedly by patrons who feel like they've found a hidden gem in Sicily’s culinary landscape.

The menu at Ai Lumi boasts carefully curated dishes that celebrate the freshest Mediterranean ingredients. This restaurant most probably was at its peak a decade ago but still retains a scent of its prior glory and a menu to match. I suspect it may be approaching its last hurrah but we enjoyed a well prepared and unhurried meal. Grazie.

I would recommend making a reservation on weekends. Luckily the front of house staff fitted us in for a late 9.30pm sitting. We had the caponata to start which was quite sweet, but very moreish. We then shared the lamb ragu and pork knuckle, which were very generous portions and tasted great.

This place is amazing, a very relaxed atmosphere with simple Sicilian food done in a proper way and cooked with passion, Vincenzo the chef has been at it for awhile now and maybe somebody may think that this is Classic Mediterranean but I can assure you sometimes nothing beats the belief that the ingredients you are using and the execution with which you cook them flavours on the plate that encompass the true passion of Sicily, I would recommend this place anybody that is looking for genuine food, served in a family run restaurant. They would say in Sicily, this is Cucina Semplice. The Wine list is very well priced, As all the food items, I would say that inclusive Wine and a tree course mean this is a medium price Restaurant

Had a delicious, authentic dinner here. Recommended by our hotel for a casual spot to sample typical Sicilian food. Tried the ricotta ravioli with pistachio, black pork with tomato sauce, caponata, chocolate cake and lemon mousse. We loved it all. They have an extensive wine selection and were friendly and helpful.

We were wandering Ragusa and very hungry at 17:30, stumbled across Ai Lumi, and very grateful we did. We are vegetarian and enjoyed a caprese salad followed by x3 pasta dishes that were simple and absolutely delicious! The house wine was wonderful. The atmosphere was quiet, relaxed and the service was kind and attentive. Highly recommend for an authentic and memorable meal.
